The competition package for the Audi RS3 8V Sportback/Sedan 294KW/400PS (08/2017+) includes the intercooler upgrade kit EVO 3 and the downpipe kit. The intercooler upgrade kit features a high-performance core with dimensions of 515mm x 367mm x 95mm (stepped), providing an 84% larger inflow area and 101% more charge air volume compared to the original intercooler.

The competition high-performance intercooler core ensures sufficient airflow to adjacent components, such as the water cooler. It uses a high-quality Tube Fin core with internal turbulators, and the end boxes are made of cast aluminium, optimized using CFD flow analyses. Integrated air baffles at the inlet ensure even filling of the charge air cooler, resulting in excellent cooling properties with minimal back pressure. The intercooler and crossbar form a stable unit and weigh 14.3 kg. Installation is straightforward, using the original mounting points as a 1:1 replacement. The system is tested up to 6 bar and is pressure-resistant.

The downpipe kit is developed for Audi RS3 8V facelift models and is made from high-quality cast stainless steel 1.4301 (SS304) for durability and corrosion resistance. It is designed without a pre-cat for maximum power and features 2x O70mm diameter for improved flow dynamics. The kit is CAD-designed and flow-optimized, equipped with 2 lambda probe connections, and offers 100% accuracy of fit for easy replacement with the standard part. It reduces the thermal load on the turbocharger and increases performance through back pressure reduction. The kit is compatible with the original aftercat pipes (not OPF). Optionally, aftercat pipes with 2x200CPSI racing catalytic converters are available (for OPF models, the exhaust system must be cut).

Important: It is recommended to use the standard version for power classes up to 600PS and the X version for power classes from 600PS.

Remark: Recalibration of the ACC may be necessary.
