The ST XTA Coilover uses KW Shock absorber / Damper technology and adjustable aluminium uniball top mounts for fine-tuning camber and caster.

Adjustable damping allows the Suspension to be made stiffer or softer depending on driving conditions. Damping adjustment is performed at the upper end of the chromed Piston rod. Increased rebound force provides greater track stability and reduced body roll, while decreased rebound force provides increased comfort.

Lowering is adjusted through a continuous thread on the galvanized Strut, allowing adjustment after installation by moving the spring plate higher or lower. The twin-tube damping design combines low friction with pressure-resistant Shock absorber / Damper housings, while the monoblock guide and seal package reduces friction and protects against corrosion and dirt.

Note: The Lowering range differs greatly between vehicles due to their construction. A Honda Civic (EJ9) can be lowered by 40-75 mm, while an Audi S3 (8P) can be lowered by 10-40 mm due to its lower factory ride height.
