The SPEED ENGINEERING 14084 Front Axle Brake Cooling Kit is designed for the HYUNDAI i30 N PD. The cooling system channels air from the front bumper area to the brake ventilation outlet, helping prevent uncontrolled airflow swirl inside the wheel arch.

Generation 2 retains the OEM ducts and uses air intake funnels mounted beneath the wishbone. An opening with a hose connection through the wishbone connects the air intake area to the anchor plate using a short air hose. This layout reduces flow losses, improves wear resistance, helps prevent damage during full steering wheel turns, and simplifies installation.

The outlet directs airflow toward the brake disc / brake rotor at a defined angle to minimise airflow loss and use the available air volume efficiently. The lightweight, powder-coated aluminium anchor plate provides strength and durability, while additional shielding protects the suspension joint bearing from brake heat and helps increase its service life.

Installation Note: Differences in wheel position, suspension geometry, and wheel and tyre combinations may require clearance checks. In some cases, the wheel may lightly touch at full steering lock, and the final ¼ of the steering travel should be avoided.
