The SPEED ENGINEERING 13643 BMW Ram air intake is designed for the BMW 1 Series M140i with B58 engine, F20/F21. The system supplies cooler air from an area under positive pressure, making it suitable for racetrack use or vehicles with performance upgrades.

The adapter piece fits onto the raw air intake, while the Ram air intake funnel screws onto the adapter piece. No rubber adapters designed for hot climates are required.

The parts are vacuum cast rather than 3D printed. This manufacturing process supports high part quality and helps minimise air resistance. The OEM Ram air intake shown as already fitted to the vehicle is not included.

Roadworthiness Note: This modification will invalidate the vehicle’s roadworthiness certificate.

Registration Requirement: Individual approval by TÜV in accordance with §21 is required.

Road Use: Motorsport products are not automatically approved under the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO).
