The intake system helps the engine receive cooler air by creating an opening to an area where the air is cooler and under positive pressure.
The parts are manufactured by vacuum casting rather than 3D printing to ensure optimum quality and minimise air resistance.
Warning: Although this part is barely visible when fitted, this modification invalidates the vehicle’s roadworthiness certificate.
Important: These parts are motorsport products and are not automatically approved under the Road Traffic Regulations (StVO). Individual approval in accordance with §21 by TÜV is required. None of the products offered for sale are original vehicle parts from BMW AG, M GmbH, MINI, VAG, or any other vehicle manufacturer. Vehicle makes and models are named solely for product identification and assignment to the appropriate vehicle type.
- The OEM grille behind the radiator on the side of the bulkhead must be removed.
- The rubber lip of the OEM air duct must be fitted onto the intake system.
