The SPEED ENGINEERING 13490 Rear Axle Brake Cooling Kit is designed for BMW M2, M3, and M4 F8x / G8x models. On racing cars, the inner surface of the rear axle brake disc / brake rotor can reach extremely high temperatures despite brake upgrades. Large temperature differences between the inner and outer surfaces can lead to uneven brake pad wear.

The plug-and-play, wear-free cooling system requires no vehicle modifications, hoses, clamps, or additional accessories. It mounts using the original wishbone bolt points and shapes, channeling air directly into the inside of the rim via an air duct.

Anchor Plate Note: Removal or modification of the anchor plate is strongly recommended for maximum performance. Alternatively, a small window can be cut into the anchor plate, or several 10 mm holes can be drilled at specific locations.

Road Use: Motorsport parts are not approved for road use.
