Description SPEED ENGINEERING 13486 Brake Cooling Kit for BMW M3 (F80) / M4 (F82)

The SPEED ENGINEERING 13486 Brake Cooling Kit is designed for the BMW M3 F80 and BMW M4 F82. The system channels airflow from the front bumper area to the brake ventilation outlet to support braking performance and reduce wear on the friction surfaces.

Unlike the M2 Competition, the BMW M3 F80 and BMW M4 F82 do not have factory-fitted air ducts in the front bumper. The kit uses existing airflow around the side radiators behind the bumper, with guide channels preventing air from swirling randomly in the wheel arch after passing through the radiators. Each side connects to the outlet through a 40 cm hose.

The air duct outlet channels airflow toward the centre of the brake disc / brake rotor, using the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. Airflow is directed at a specific angle to avoid efficiency loss and use the available air volume efficiently. The lightweight, powder-coated aluminium construction remains strong and durable, while nearby bearings are shielded from heat where required.

Road Use: Motorsport parts are not approved for road use.

Fitment / Vehicle compatibility Note: Models vary slightly in wheel position, suspension geometry, and wheel and tyre combinations. In some cases, the wheel may lightly touch at full steering lock, and the final ¼ of the steering travel should be avoided.
