The SPEED ENGINEERING 13479 Brake Cooling Kit is a complete front axle brake cooling system designed for the BMW M3 E46. It extends the standard front bumper inlet ducts, guides airflow around the wheel, and connects the air duct inlets to the anchor plates using a 40 cm hose on each side.

The anchor plates channel airflow toward the centre of the brake disc / brake rotor, using the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. The defined airflow angle helps reduce energy loss and uses the available air volume efficiently.

Bearings closest to the brake disc / brake rotor are shielded from heat where necessary to help extend their service life. The powder-coated aluminium construction provides strength while remaining lightweight and durable.

Road Use: Motorsport products are not automatically approved under the Road Traffic Act (StVO).

Registration Requirement: Individual approval by TÜV in accordance with §21 is required.

Fitment Note: Wheel position varies slightly between models, chassis geometries, and wheel and tyre combinations. In some cases, the wheel may lightly touch at full steering lock, and the final ¼ of the steering travel should be avoided.
