For F20 / F21 facelift models with M package bumper.

 

The track variant is a variant for maximum efficiency for cooling the brake. It is clearly recommended for GP routes, as well as regular track use.

 

A suitable inlet is essential to transport the air to the brake ventilation outlet. The F20 / F21 facelift (with M bumper) already has inlet channels in the front bumper ex works, but these end in the middle of the wheel arch. In order not to randomly swirl the air in the wheel arch, we have developed an extension of the air duct, which can be installed with minimal effort and leads the air around the wheel and connects a connection via a hose (per side) to the outlet. No additional fastening material is required for assembly. It takes place in exchange with the original channel.

Air duct outlet

For many vehicles, brake cooling is recommended even under moderate loads, even outside the racetrack.

 

This not only improves braking performance, but can also drastically reduce wear on the friction partners.

 

We use the channeling of the air flow to the center of the brake disc to use the turbine effect to cool the disc from the inside. In doing so, we stream the windshield at an angle in order to avoid wastage and to use the available air volume as efficiently as possible.

 

Due to the lightweight construction in combination with powdered aluminum, the component is sufficiently strong and at the same time light and insensitive.

 

Scope of delivery:

2x air ducts inlet for the front axle 1x left 1x right

2x anchor plates for the front axle 1x left 1x right with connection for 51 mm air hose

3x air hose = 3 meters
