Description SACHS PERFORMANCE 883082002092 Racing Clutch Nissan GT-R GT3

Designed for the 2018 and 2020 Evo-spec Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 (R35), the SACHS RCS 4/140 S2.6 racing clutch from ZF Motorsport uses a compact 140 mm friction diameter and four plates for extremely short shift windows and rapid engine-speed matching. It is suited to the VR38DETT 3.8 L V6 biturbo with a 6-speed transaxle in GT3 layout.

The 2.6 mm sintered metallic lining prioritizes low rotating mass and high thermal stability. The result is direct launch response, quick rpm matching, and consistent Pedal feel over long stints, suited to the GT-R GT3 duty cycle with a BoP window above 550 HP.

The forged aluminum clutch cover combines maximum stiffness with low weight and aids heat dissipation. High-strength steel pressure and intermediate plates provide strength for launches and durability, supporting repeatable performance in demanding GT3 racing.

Less Mass

One of the greatest strengths of the RCS sintered clutch is its low mass and associated low mass inertia. SACHS RCS clutches are Designed for racing so that Torque is transmitted rapidly and directly from the engine to the gearbox. Reducing crankshaft drive weight to lower the moment of inertia considerably increases vehicle acceleration performance in lower gears.

Faster Acceleration

If the clutch has a moment of inertia of 0.061 kg·m², the moment of inertia at the drive wheel is 180 times higher in first gear with a transmission reduction of 13.4:1. Converted into vehicle mass, this represents approximately 145 kg of additional weight to be accelerated in first gear. The low moment of inertia of the SACHS RCS clutch considerably reduces shifting times and enables faster vehicle acceleration.
