The SACHS RCS 115 2.6 sintered-metal clutch disc from ZF Motorsport is a no-compromise lightweight racing solution. With a diameter of just 115 mm—the smallest RCS format and closest in concept to modern Formula 1 clutches—it delivers ultra-low rotating mass, sharp response, and maximum packaging freedom in tight single-seater monocoques.

The sintered Friction material is directly sintered onto the carrier plate, creating a very stiff friction pair with a precise bite point, aggressive launch characteristics, and fast engagement. The 2.6 mm lining minimizes inertia, supports rapid engine spin-up, and eases synchronizer load during shifts.

The high-temperature sintered material remains stable under extreme friction energy and transmits Torque reliably, making it ideal for short, intense duty cycles.

Technology
