Extremely compact, Lightweight and low-inertia, the SACHS RCS 115 clutch housing is the central support structure of the smallest RCS size in the ZF Motorsport range. It has been developed for high-end applications in professional racing.

The RCS 115 comes particularly close to the size of a Formula 1 clutch and is Designed for circuit racing, formula cars and prototypes. Unlike larger RCS sizes with aluminium housings, it uses a high-strength steel clutch cover for maximum load capacity in minimal installation space.

Note: The clutch cover must be combined with approved, series-specific RCS 115 pressure plates, intermediate plates and clutch discs. Selection depends on the number of plates, Friction material, flywheel type, Torque range and application profile.

• The housing accommodates and precisely guides the pressure plate, intermediate plates and clutch discs while transmitting Torque within the modular RCS system.
• High housing stiffness supports defined modulation, stable component positioning and reproducible shifts.
• Sintered and carbon variants are available for 3- and 4-plate clutches.
• The housing supports defined clamp load and efficient heat dissipation under high engine speeds and repeated thermal loads.
