The RECARO Ergomed E Basis (SAB) is an ergonomic comfort seat designed for frequent drivers and long-distance travel. Certified by AGR (German Healthier Backs Campaign), this model supports healthy posture and sustained spinal comfort during extended driving. The Artista Black / Nardo Black upholstery combination provides a refined interior appearance with durable and highly fire-resistant materials.

This right-side version features an integrated universal side airbag (SAB), positioning it among the first retrofit shell seats equipped with an airbag system. Standard equipment includes electric height adjustment, manual tilt adjustment, and manual backrest adjustment on both sides. An extendable seat cushion and integrated lumbar support enhance ergonomic positioning and long-distance comfort. The RECARO climate package is available as an optional upgrade. The seat holds ABE/TÜV component certification for approved road use.
