The RECARO Podium CF is a carbon fiber reinforced plastic (CFRP) shell seat developed for dual-purpose use on public roads and race tracks. Engineered to meet the contrasting requirements of daily driving and competitive motorsport, it combines lightweight construction, structural rigidity, and advanced ergonomic support. This right-side version in Size M is finished in Red Alcantara and Black Leather and features an integrated side airbag (SAB), making it the first retrofit shell seat equipped with an airbag.

Certified with ABE (German general type approval) and FIA 8855-1999 homologation, the Podium CF is approved for road and competition use when installed with the appropriate RECARO baseframe and sidemount. The visible CFRP shell integrates a headrest, specially formed shoulder support, and pronounced lateral bolsters in the backrest and seat cushion areas to ensure stability under high lateral loads. Replaceable Pad Kit M is designed for drivers of medium build, while the open-back shell construction supports passive ventilation for extended driving comfort.
