The RECARO Podium CF is a carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) racing shell seat engineered for combined road and track use. Homologated in accordance with FIA 8855-1999 and approved with German ABE certification, it is the only retrofit shell seat on the market certified for motorsport competition while remaining authorized for public road applications. This left-side version is finished in Red Alcantara / Black Leather and equipped with Pad Kit L for drivers of larger build.

The ultra-lightweight CFRP shell integrates visible structural elements, an integrated headrest, and pronounced lateral support in both the backrest and seat cushion areas. Specially formed shoulder contours ensure compatibility with head and neck safety systems such as HANS. Replaceable pads in varying thicknesses allow ergonomic customization while maintaining a slim, motorsport-focused profile. The open-back shell construction supports passive ventilation, contributing to consistent comfort during extended driving sessions.
