The RECARO Podium GF is a glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) shell seat engineered for dual road and track applications. Developed to satisfy the contrasting demands of everyday driving and motorsport competition, it is approved for public road use (ABE) and homologated to FIA 8855-1999 standards. This left-side version features an integrated side airbag (SAB), making it one of the first retrofit racing shell seats with integrated airbag functionality.

The lightweight GFRP shell is finished in mirror-finish black gelcoat and designed to provide high structural rigidity with reduced mass. Motorsport-derived ergonomics include an integrated headrest, specially formed shoulder support, and pronounced lateral bolsters in both the backrest and seat cushion areas. The open-back construction enables passive ventilation, while the replaceable Pad Kit L is configured for drivers of larger build. Upholstery in Red Alcantara combined with Black leather ensures durability and a performance-oriented interior finish.
