The RECARO Podium GF is a glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP) shell seat developed for combined road and track applications. Designed to meet the contrasting requirements of everyday driving and motorsport use, it is approved for public road operation (ABE) and homologated according to FIA 8855-1999 standards. This version is configured for the right side and features an integrated side airbag (SAB), representing one of the first retrofit racing shell seats with airbag integration.

The lightweight GFRP shell is finished in mirror-finish black gelcoat and engineered for high structural rigidity with reduced mass. Motorsport-inspired ergonomics include an integrated headrest, specially formed shoulder support, and pronounced lateral bolsters in both the backrest and seat cushion areas. The open-back design supports passive ventilation, while the replaceable Pad Kit M is tailored for drivers of medium build. Upholstery in Black Alcantara combined with Red leather ensures a durable and performance-oriented interior finish.
