The RECARO Podium GF Right Side is a high-performance retrofit shell seat developed for both road and track use. Constructed from glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP), it combines lightweight composite engineering with advanced safety standards. The seat features ABE/TÜV approval for public road applications and FIA 8855-1999 homologation for motorsport competition.

Designed to meet the contrasting requirements of everyday driving and circuit performance, the Podium GF incorporates a visible structural shell, integrated headrest, pronounced lateral support in the backrest and seat cushion areas, and specially formed shoulder contours for optimized driver stability. Passive ventilation through the open-back shell enhances comfort during extended driving sessions. The Size L version is equipped with pads for drivers of larger build. The seat supports 3- and 4-point belts for street use and 4-, 5-, and 6-point harness systems for racing applications. It is developed for compatibility with HANS systems.
