The RECARO Podium GF Left Side is a high-performance retrofit shell seat designed for both road and track applications. Constructed from glass fiber reinforced polymer (GFRP), it combines lightweight composite technology with advanced safety standards. The seat carries ABE/TÜV approval for public road use and FIA 8855-1999 homologation for motorsport competition.

Engineered to meet the contrasting requirements of daily driving and circuit performance, the Podium GF features a visible structural shell design, integrated headrest, pronounced lateral support in the backrest and seat cushion areas, and specially formed shoulder contours for enhanced driver stability. Passive ventilation through the open-back shell improves long-distance comfort. The Size L version is equipped with pad configuration for drivers of larger build. The seat supports 3- and 4-point belts for street use and 4-, 5-, and 6-point harness systems for track use, and is developed for compatibility with HANS systems.
