The RECARO Podium GF Left Side is a high-performance retrofit shell seat designed for both road and track applications. Manufactured from glass fiber reinforced plastic (GFRP), it combines lightweight composite construction with advanced safety standards. The seat is approved for public road use with ABE/TÜV certification and homologated to FIA 8855-1999 for competition.

Developed to meet the contrasting demands of daily driving and motorsport use, the Podium GF features an integrated headrest, pronounced lateral support in the backrest and seat cushion areas, and specially formed shoulder contours for enhanced driver stability. The open-back shell design provides passive ventilation, while the Red Alcantara / Black Leather upholstery ensures a durable and premium interior finish. The Size M version includes pad configuration for drivers of medium build. The seat is compatible with HANS systems and supports 3- and 4-point belts for road use, as well as 4-, 5-, and 6-point harness systems for racing applications.
