PAGID Racing RSL compounds are developed to meet the latest requirements of endurance racing while complying with, or exceeding, current ecological standards of the automotive industry. The RSL 1 and RSL 1E compounds are designed for high-performance applications where thermal stability, durability, and consistent friction behavior are critical.

RSL 1 and RSL 1E are low-metallic, resin-bonded friction materials containing steel and aramid fibers with very high heat resistance. They maintain a constant friction level across a wide temperature range, making them suitable for endurance racing as well as sprint race applications. Their reduced wear rate and disc-friendly behavior support extended service life in demanding racing environments.

RSL 1E is further optimized compared to RSL 1, offering improved pad life, enhanced modulation, and increased friction stability at high operating temperatures. As a result, RSL 1E delivers the lowest pad wear rate within the PAGID Racing product range for highly thermally loaded applications.
