The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2015+ Subaru WRX is designed to promote greater cooling efficiency in FA20DIT or FA24DIT engines. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto racing thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard thermostats. This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, helping to reduce and maintain cooler engine temperatures.

The Mishimoto WRX racing thermostat is a direct replacement for the stock thermostat and is suitable for both street and track applications.
