Mishimoto has developed a racing thermostat engineered specifically for the 2016+ Camaro SS. The Mishimoto Camaro SS thermostat fits directly into the stock thermostat housing and promotes greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine.

Mishimoto racing thermostats significantly lower high engine temperatures produced by modified and upgraded engines. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto Racing Camaro thermostat opens at a lower temperature than the stock thermostat, allowing coolant to flow through the engine sooner and maintaining cooler engine temperatures. This helps improve the long-term reliability of the vehicle's cooling components.

Note: The installation of this thermostat requires the use of either GM housing 12657137 or 12671393. The stock thermostat must be removed and the Mishimoto thermostat installed in its place.

Note: If the pin has moved out from the internal wax, the thermostat should be installed and run through one or two hot/cold cycles to ensure the thermostat has been properly set.
