It features a lower activation temperature of 174 degrees Fahrenheit compared to the factory thermostat's 180 degrees Fahrenheit. The lower activation temperature allows coolant to flow through the engine earlier, helping to reduce and maintain lower engine temperatures. This thermostat is suitable for use in warmer climates or under extreme towing and driving conditions.
