Description MISHIMOTO MMTS-MUS-96 FORD Mustang V8 Racing Thermostat, 1996-2004

The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 1996-2004 Ford Mustang is designed to promote greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine. It will significantly lower high engine temperatures produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications.

Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto racing thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, allowing coolant to flow through the engine sooner and helping to reduce and maintain cooler engine temperatures.

Note: This thermostat will not fit Ford 4.6L DOHC engines.
