Description MISHIMOTO MMTS-GM-92L CHEVROLET CORVETTE Racing Thermostat, 1992-1996
Mishimoto has developed a racing thermostat specifically for LT1-powered Pontiac Firebird models. The Mishimoto racing thermostat promotes greater cooling efficiency by significantly decreasing high engine temperatures.
Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto low-temperature racing thermostat opens at 160°F, compared to standard thermostats that open at 180°F. This allows coolant to flow through the engine sooner, helping to reduce and maintain cooler engine temperatures. A reliable cooling system is essential for both street and strip use.
