The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the Volkswagen Golf 2015-2017 is designed to help the cooling system operate at peak efficiency, whether driving to a local car meet or on the track. The thermostat begins to open 25.2°F (14°C) earlier than the stock thermostat at 210.2°F (99°C), allowing coolant to flow into the radiator and start shedding heat sooner.

Pairing this thermostat with a Mishimoto performance aluminum radiator provides a solution for maintaining lower engine temperatures in various conditions. This thermostat is covered by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.
