Mishimoto offers a line of Powerstroke performance parts designed to enhance the reliability of the Ford 7.3L cooling system. A faulty thermostat can cause engine overheating and potential internal damage. The Mishimoto Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Low-Temperature Thermostat is engineered as a direct-fit replacement for the factory unit.

This thermostat features a lower activation temperature of 189°F, compared to the factory thermostat's 195°F. The reduced activation temperature allows coolant to circulate through the engine sooner, helping to lower and maintain engine temperatures. It is suitable for use in warmer climates or under extreme towing and driving conditions.
