A defective thermostat can cause engine overheating and potential internal damage. The Mishimoto Ford 6.7L Powerstroke Low-Temperature Thermostat is designed to improve the reliability of the 6.7L primary cooling system.

This thermostat serves as a direct-fit replacement for the factory unit and features lower activation temperatures (189 F/196 F) compared to the OEM thermostat (194 F/201 F). Lower activation temperatures allow coolant to circulate earlier, helping to reduce and maintain lower engine temperatures. This product is suitable for warmer climates or extreme towing and driving conditions.
