A defective thermostat can cause engine overheating and potential internal damage. Improve the reliability of the 6.4L cooling system with Mishimoto Ford 6.4L Powerstroke Low-Temperature Thermostats. These thermostats are designed as a direct-fit replacement for factory units.

The Mishimoto thermostats feature a lower activation temperature (187 F/197 F) compared to factory thermostats (192 F/203 F). Lower activation temperatures allow coolant to flow through the engine earlier, reducing and maintaining lower engine temperatures. These thermostats are suitable for use in warmer climates or under extreme towing and driving conditions.

Note: This thermostat is intended for use in heavily modified trucks used for heavy towing or racing. It is not intended for use in stock or light-duty applications.

Note: This thermostat requires the use of the Ford Motorcraft RT-1212 thermostat housing.
