Description MISHIMOTO MMTS-F2D-08H FORD 6.4L Powerstroke Low-Temperature Thermostats (set of 2), 2008-2010

A defective thermostat can cause engine overheating and potential internal damage. The Mishimoto Ford 6.4L Powerstroke High-Temperature Thermostats are designed to improve the reliability of the 6.4L cooling system.

These thermostats serve as a direct-fit replacement for factory units and feature a higher activation temperature (198 F/208 F) compared to the factory thermostats (192 F/203 F). The increased activation temperature restricts coolant flow longer, allowing for a quicker engine warm-up, which is beneficial in cold climates.

Note: This thermostat requires the use of the Ford Motorcraft RT-1212 thermostat housing.
