This thermostat is designed as a direct-fit replacement for the stock unit. It features a lower activation temperature of 71ºC/160ºF compared to the factory thermostat's 82ºC/180ºF, allowing coolant to circulate earlier and helping to maintain lower engine temperatures. The thermostat is suitable for warmer climates, vehicles with increased power, or under extreme towing and driving conditions.
