The Mishimoto 2015-2021 Subaru WRX Street Performance Top-Mount Intercooler is designed to replace the stock intercooler and support increased boost levels on the FA20DIT engine. This intercooler is suitable for use on the stock tune as well as stage 2 maps and tunes.

The unit features fully cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core, providing maximum cooling efficiency and minimal pressure drop. The design offers a 76% increase in core volume and an 81% increase in external fin surface area, resulting in a 34°F reduction in outlet temperatures compared to the stock intercooler. A 12% increase in flow further enhances performance. The intercooler is available in black, silver, or gold, with an optional Mishimoto ducting add-on for increased airflow.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs (2.5NM) recommended for all worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs (3NM).
