The Mishimoto direct-fit top-mount intercooler is designed specifically for the 2008-2014 Subaru WRX to help reduce high intake temperatures on both stock and modified vehicles. The factory WRX intercooler is susceptible to heat soak and potential failure of the plastic end tanks above 18 psi. Mishimoto engineers developed this intercooler to deliver optimal performance for street and track use.

This top-mount intercooler features durable cast aluminum end tanks TIG-welded to a dense bar-and-plate core. With a 3.75-inch core and a total volume of 584 cubic inches, the intercooler utilizes a dense offset fin pitch to maximize heat transfer and support vehicles from stock up to 400 whp. Testing showed a 12°F temperature drop and gains of +6 whp and +8 wtq on a stock test vehicle. Installation is straightforward, requires no engine bay modifications, and can be completed in under 30 minutes.

The intercooler comes with a new turbo-intercooler O-ring gasket and a silicone throttle body coupler, eliminating the need for additional installation supplies. It is available in powder-coated Sleek Silver or Stealth Black finishes and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Note: This kit is rated for 250-350 whp with maximum limits of approximately 400 whp or 30 PSI of turbo boost. Exceeding these limits may require a larger front-mount intercooler.
