The Jeep JK often experiences elevated transmission fluid temperatures, particularly during off-road use or in hot climates. Mishimoto has developed a direct-fit transmission cooler kit designed specifically for the JK chassis to address this issue.

This kit features precision-engineered brackets to mount a large 19-row cooler in the front grille area, maximizing airflow and significantly improving cooling efficiency. It effectively reduces transmission fluid temperatures, which helps decrease transmission wear and enhances vehicle safety.

The Mishimoto Jeep JK Transmission Cooler Kit includes all necessary lines and hardware for straightforward installation. It is also compatible with the Mishimoto Jeep JK oil cooler kit and all-aluminum radiator for a comprehensive cooling solution.

Installation Notes: 22 in-lbs recommended for all worm-gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-27 in-lbs (2-3 Nm). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 27 in-lbs.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation. For additional technical information, contact the customer experience team.

Note: Requires modification to factory transmission cooler lines.
