Heat is a major concern for transmissions, especially in the 1994-2002 Dodge Ram 5.9L Cummins, whether used for towing, fleet work, or daily driving with performance needs. Maintaining optimal transmission temperature is essential for reliability and longevity.

The Mishimoto direct-fit transmission cooler features a tube-and-fin core designed for effective cooling. This cooler offers a 116-percent greater core volume, 141-percent increase in fluid capacity, and 134-percent greater fin surface area compared to the stock transmission cooler. CNC-machined stainless steel hose barb fittings and a supplied transmission fluid hose are included to simplify installation by allowing removal of the stock quick-disconnect fittings.

Note: This kit requires cutting of the stock transmission cooler lines to remove the quick-disconnect fittings. Mishimoto provides CNC-machined stainless steel hose barb fittings to splice the supplied transmission cooler line with the stock soft-lines. Please see installation instructions for more details.

Note: Vehicles equipped with aftermarket intercoolers may require slight trimming of the bumper to fit this transmission cooler.
