Factory caps are not designed for long-term use and often lose pressure, which reduces the coolant boiling point and can cause the coolant to boil.
The Mishimoto 1.1 Bar Overflow Reservoir Cap keeps coolant flowing within the system and prevents loss due to boiling.
Note: This cap will not fit the 2015 Mustang.
