The 2022+ WRX continues this tradition, but its factory cooling system uses plastic end tanks and a loosely packed core, which can limit performance compared to rally-spec cooling systems.

The Mishimoto performance aluminum radiator upgrades the WRX with precision TIG-welded aluminum end tanks, designed to handle the demands of rally, track, or daily driving. The two-row, 36 mm-thick core features densely packed, louvered fins for efficient heat transfer and a 32% increase in core volume for improved cooling. A slotted drain plug is included to help direct coolant into the drain pan during service.
