Maintaining optimal coolant temperatures is essential for the reliability and performance of Subaru's flat-four engine, whether during daily driving or on the track. The factory radiator's limited capacity can become a bottleneck under demanding conditions, increasing the risk of overheating and engine damage. The Mishimoto X-Line Performance Aluminum Radiator for the 2008–2014 Subaru WRX and 2008–2021 Subaru STI is engineered to provide maximum cooling efficiency and durability in any environment.

This radiator features a larger triple-row core for significantly improved heat dissipation, helping to keep coolant temperatures stable even under extreme loads. Constructed from 100% brazed aluminum with TIG-welded polished end tanks, it offers superior strength and longevity compared to the stock unit. The lightweight design helps maintain vehicle balance and performance, while the direct OEM fit allows for easy installation without modifications. Each radiator includes a high-pressure 1.3 bar radiator cap to raise the coolant boiling point, and a second cap for the expansion tank.

Caution: The provided Mishimoto two-way cap (six-sided design) should replace the stock cap located on the expansion tank. The Mishimoto Performance Aluminum Radiator should utilize the included one-way cap (circular design with non-directional sticker).

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
