Proper oil temperatures are essential for engine longevity and performance, whether the vehicle is a daily driven Subaru or a built Audi 20V. The Mishimoto thermostatic sandwich plate helps keep oil temperatures in check.

This high-flow sandwich plate is made from lightweight CNC-machined billet 6061 aluminum for precision and quality. The internal oil thermostat restricts flow to the heat exchanger until the activation temperature is reached, improving warm-up while maintaining efficient cooling. Its compact design and rear-mounted thermostat allow installation in tight engine bays where space is limited by exhaust or other components. The sandwich plate features two 1/8 NPT ports for temperature or pressure sensors.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to ensure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
