The Mishimoto In-Line Oil Thermostat is designed for precise fluid temperature regulation in a variety of automotive applications. This unit is CNC-machined from a single piece of billet 6061 aluminum, ensuring durability and reliability. It is suitable for regulating engine oil, transmission fluid, or other driveline fluids, especially in projects where space constraints prevent the use of a standard oil sandwich plate.

The included thermostat is set to regulate temperatures at 185 degrees Fahrenheit and can be easily interchanged with 160 degree or 200 degree thermostat units. The in-line thermostat comes with four -10AN fittings with dowty seals for secure, leak-free connections. A CNC-machined heat sink enhances both style and fluid temperature reduction. A universal mounting bracket and necessary hardware are included.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 ft-lb. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that all connections be checked at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
