Maintaining ideal oil temperatures is essential for both optimal performance and engine longevity in Subaru WRX and STI models. The Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Direct-Fit Oil Cooler Kit is designed to enhance reliability for the flat-four engine.

This kit features precision-engineered, application-specific mounting brackets, premade stainless steel braided oil lines, a billet oil sandwich plate, and an efficient 10-row stacked-plate Mishimoto oil cooler. It provides 0.5 qt of additional oil capacity and reduces temperatures by more than 20°F (16°C) with minimal pressure loss. The kit is available with either the Mishimoto standard Oil Sandwich Plate or the Mishimoto Oil Sandwich Plate with Rear-Mounted Thermostat for enhanced oil temperature control. Cooler options include Sleek Silver or Stealth Black finishes.

This kit complements the Mishimoto Subaru WRX/STI Performance Aluminum Radiator, Performance Aluminum Fan Shroud Kit, and Silicone Radiator Hose Kit for a comprehensive cooling solution. The Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty is included.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.

Note: Requires trimming of exhaust heat shield for proper installation. Will not fit on vehicles equipped with front mount intercoolers. Fits automatic and manual applications.
