The Fox Body Mustang is recognized for its lightweight chassis and powerful drivetrain. High-powered naturally aspirated, turbocharged, and supercharged vehicles generate significant unwanted heat under the hood, which can accelerate oil breakdown and engine wear.

The Mishimoto direct-fit oil cooler kit is designed to protect and enhance the Mustang. This kit features a large 19-row oil cooler mounted in the front bumper for maximum airflow and cooling efficiency. Installation can be completed in less than two hours and increases total oil capacity by more than 0.5 qt.

The kit includes a mounting bracket engineered specifically for the Fox Body, preassembled lines, fittings, an oil sandwich plate, and all necessary hardware for a clean installation. The oil cooler kit is available with a thermostatic sandwich plate for additional oil temperature control and a choice of stealth black or silver cooler.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to ensure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends checking all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
