This LS1/LS2 front-sump oil cooler kit is designed as a DIY solution, allowing for customized fitment on highly modified LS vehicles. The kit requires fabrication of custom brackets to mount the cooler in the desired location. A CNC-machined oil line adapter is included to enable the use of -AN fittings.

The 25-row cooler is capable of significantly reducing oil temperatures, with testing showing a drop of up to 65°F. This kit is recommended for race vehicles, particularly turbocharged or supercharged drag vehicles.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to ensure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. It is recommended to check all connections at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.

Installation Notes: Torque adapter bolts to between 108 in-lbs and 120 in-lbs. Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 lb-ft.

Note: This kit requires fabrication of mounting brackets and may require modifying the braided oil lines to fit. It is designed for race applications only. For street applications, use the Thermostatic Kit.
