The Mishimoto performance oil cooler for the 2021+ BMW M2, M3, and M4 is designed to maintain optimal temperatures for high-performance driving. The G8X M2, M3, and M4 models feature an oil cooler positioned on the undercarriage, parallel to the road surface, which enhances airflow but leaves the cooler exposed to potential damage from road hazards.

To address this, Mishimoto developed a robust oil cooler replacement featuring a bar-and-plate core with CNC-machined end tanks. This cooler offers a 35.7% thicker core and a 41% increase in core volume compared to the stock unit, improving cooling efficiency. The unit fits directly in place of the original, retaining stock seals and bash guards for optimal airflow and protection.

Installation Notes: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that all connections be checked at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
