The S54 engine is known for its smooth power delivery, individual throttle bodies, and 8,000 rpm redline, creating a memorable driving experience. Maintaining optimal oil temperatures is essential for extending vehicle life and ensuring consistent performance, especially for vehicles that see frequent track use.

Mishimoto has developed a performance oil cooler kit for the E46 M3, featuring an efficient core that achieves a 30°F (16.7°C) reduction in oil temperature. With a 110% increase in core thickness, this kit also raises oil capacity by 0.44 qt. The oil cooler end tanks are cast from a single piece of aluminum and TIG-welded for maximum reliability. This kit is a complete bolt-in fit, compatible with both the stock radiator and the Mishimoto BMW E46 Performance Aluminum Radiator.

The included CNC-machined 6061 aluminum and 303 stainless steel Oil Line Fitting Kit allows for easy removal of stock hard lines and installation of stainless steel braided lines. Pre-assembled stainless steel lines with -10AN fittings and a black Mishimoto Oil Line Stay are included to prevent line rubbing. The Mishimoto E46 M3 Oil Cooler Kit is backed by the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Note: Mishimoto fully inspects and cleans all products prior to packaging. However, it is recommended that customers flush the oil cooler with one quart of clean oil prior to installation to remove any debris accumulated during shipping.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all line fittings and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that all connections be checked at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
