Mishimoto introduces a direct-fit oil cooler kit designed specifically for the Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S. This kit positions a large oil cooler in the front bumper to provide ample airflow and optimal cooling, suitable for both street and track use. Proper oil temperature regulation helps improve durability and longevity for stock or modified 2.0L engines.

The kit includes all necessary components for a seamless bolt-on installation, such as application-specific mounting brackets, stainless steel braided oil lines, a billet aluminum oil sandwich plate, and CNC-machined aluminum spacers. The oil cooler kit is available with either a standard oil sandwich plate or a rear-mounted thermostat option for additional oil temperature control. It is compatible with Mishimoto’s performance aluminum radiator and silicone radiator hose kit for enhanced cooling performance.

Note: Mishimoto fully inspects and cleans all products prior to packaging. However, it is recommended that customers flush the oil cooler with one quart of clean oil prior to installation to remove any debris accumulated during shipping.

Installation Notes: Recommended torque specification for all straight fittings and banjo bolts: 15-25 lb-ft. Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 ft-lb.

Caution: It is the installer's responsibility to check all thermostat plugs, NPT plugs, line fittings, and other connections to assure they are fully tightened before operating the vehicle. Mishimoto recommends that all connections be checked at regular intervals, especially during the first few miles after installation.
