This performance intercooler kit is designed for the 2016-2018 Ford Focus RS. It features a 36% increase in core volume and a 214% increase in external fin surface area, resulting in improved air-cooling efficiency. The core reduces air outlet temperature by almost 40% while minimizing inlet/outlet pressure drop, providing gains of 7hp and 8ft-lbs.

The direct-fit, bar-and-plate core is built for durability and improved heat transfer at both idle and cruising speeds. The kit includes a performance intercooler piping kit, which replaces the stock hot-side pipe with a custom design that increases internal volume by 40% and directs airflow over the stock PTU cooler. The cold-side pipe uses 5-layers of wire-reinforced silicone and a larger diameter to increase airflow and extend turbocharger lifespan.

The Performance Intercooler Kit is available with a silver or black core and is covered under the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: 27 in-lbs (3NM) recommended for all T-bolt and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-35 in-lbs (2-4NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 in-lbs (4NM).
