Description MISHIMOTO MMINT-F30-12BK BMW F22/F30 Performance Intercooler 2012-2016

The Mishimoto BMW 2012-2016 F22/F30 Chassis Performance Intercooler is designed to address the limitations of the factory intercooler on N20/26 and N55 engines. The stock tube-and-fin intercooler with plastic end tanks can lead to heat retention and reduced performance, especially for tuned vehicles.

This performance intercooler features a unique 6" thick step-core design with a 115° angle at the top section, allowing for increased charged air cooling while minimizing obstruction to other heat exchangers. The bar-and-plate construction is engineered for optimal heat dissipation and minimal pressure drop.

Testing on a 2017 M2 showed a reduction in intercooler outlet temperatures by 45°F, with gains of 10 whp and 8 wtq on the stock tune. The intercooler is available in silver or black and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty.

Installation Notes: 27 in-lbs (3NM) recommended for all T-bolt and constant-tension T-bolt clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 18-35 in-lbs (2-4NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 35 in-lbs (4NM).

Note: F33 convertible and M2 owners will need to either remove or modify the front core support brace for installation. Please refer to the installation guide for proper modification instructions.
