The 2017+ Ford Super Duty equipped with the 6.7L Powerstroke is recognized for its capability and reliability. Mishimoto developed an upgraded 6.7L Powerstroke air-to-water intercooler to address reports of internal leaks in the stock intercooler.

The Mishimoto intercooler replaces the stamped and stacked plate stock design with cast aluminum end tanks that are precision TIG-welded to a robust bar-and-plate core. The cast end tanks reduce potential failure points compared to cut and welded tanks. Durability is further enhanced by a mandrel-bent cold-side pipe and silicone couplers with Duracore Technology.

Flow bench testing showed that the Mishimoto intercooler flows 22% better than the stock cooler. Dyno testing demonstrated a gain of 40 lb-ft more torque on a stock 6.7L Powerstroke. The cooler is available in powder-coated silver, micro-wrinkle black, or micro-wrinkle blue finishes.

Installation Notes: 11 lb-ft (15NM) recommended for all constant-tension worm gear clamps. These clamps have an operating range of 11-14 lb-ft (15-20NM). Do not exceed the maximum torque rating of 14 lb-ft (20NM).
